  • Duration: 4 consecutive days (Monday - Thursday)
  • Time: 7.30 am to 4.30 pm (please arrive 10 minutes prior to course commencement time.

  CTF SUBSIDY:  Subsidised rates for these courses is $992.00 = balance you pay $488.00

Course Overview

This is a level of MRWA accreditation will enable on-site personnel, such as supervisors, team leaders and project managers to make on-site changes to Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes.

Accreditation & Certification

Unit of Competency:

  •  RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process

Certification:

Following successful completion:
  • Statement of Attainment for RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process
  • MRWA Certificate
  • MRWA Photo ID Permit (valid for 3 years)
  • Issued approximately three working days Perth metro, regional may take a little longer

Pre-Course Requirements

  • USI (Unique Student Identifier number). Participants can apply for the USI at our website www.kelyn.com.au or direct to www.usi.gov.au
  • Bring to the course photo ID (eg, passport;  driver’s licence)
  • Complete a course suitability checklist for this course including Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills as applicable.

Main Roads WA Pre-requisites:

  • Hold a current MRWA Basic Worksite Traffic Management accreditation
  • White Card or valid Blue Card.
  • Effective 26/3/2025 MRWA Pre-requisites.
  • The above listed pre-requisites plus:Documentary evidence of at least 1 year’s practical experience in traffic management; or documentary evidence of at least 2 years practical experience in road construction or maintenance. Documentary evidence of experience must include the following:
    • A completed signed SWMS used on a worksite by the applicant
    • Minimum 1 of the following: work docket, daily diary or pre-start documentation
    • Details of a minimum of 3 worksites with details of supervisor with contact details to be verified

If you do not hold the above listed course prerequisites, please enrol in our Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) and/or the White Card course.

Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Skills (LLND)

  • Participants require the foundation skills to:
  • Reading – Identify and interpret information from workplace procedures, policies, documentation and systems.
  • Writing – Produces and completes workplace reports, including risk management matrices, using appropriate vocabulary, grammatical structures and conventions.
  • Oral Communication – Present information or assistance using industry specific vocabulary & use listening and questioning to clarify and confirm understanding.

Catering

Catering will be provided for this public training courses including continual tea,  coffee, biscuits, Cup of Soup, morning tea and lunch. Please contact the office if you have specific dietary requirements.

I have lost my White Card how can I have it replaced?

If you have lost your White Card and completed your training with Kelyn Training Services, please contact us. We can issue a replacement White Card, provided your original card is still valid. A replacement fee of $50.00 applies and must be paid at the time of application.

I have Traffic Management Accreditation from another State. Can I have it recognised in Western Australia?

If you hold Temporary Traffic Management Accreditation from another state, please contact us and provide evidence of your accreditation, along with the Statement of Attainment issued by the relevant Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or Authorised Body. Once received, we will review your documentation and advise you on the most appropriate next steps.

I hold Traffic Management Implementer (TMI) obtained from another State. What is the equivalent accreditation in Western Australia?

If you hold Traffic Management Implementer accreditation from another state, the closest Western Australian equivalent is generally:

What are the Office Hours?

The Office is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Training hours with the exception of the Whitecard and drug testing are from 7:30 am onwards.  Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class commencement time.
