Course Content

The AHCMOM213 Operate and maintain chainsaws training course provides essential skills and knowledge. These are particularly helpful for individuals working in local government, forestry, landscaping, agriculture, and emergency response. This course aims to improve safety and efficiency. It also teaches proper techniques for using and maintaining a chainsaw in different work settings.

One of the primary benefits of this training is safety awareness. Participants learn to identify risks associated with chainsaw operation, conduct risk assessments, and apply appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This significantly reduces the likelihood of workplace injuries.

Another key advantage is the development of practical skills in operating and maintaining chainsaws. The course covers correct cutting techniques, ensuring participants can work effectively in different scenarios. Proper maintenance, like sharpening chains and adjusting the bar helps equipment last longer and work better.

This training is also beneficial for compliance with industry regulations and workplace safety standards. This makes it a valuable certification for those seeking employment in roles that involve chainsaw use. Employers prefer trained individuals who can safely and efficiently operate and maintain chainsaws, reducing downtime and increasing productivity.

Ultimately, this course enhances workplace safety, improves operational efficiency, and ensures compliance with industry practices.
