Course Overview

The Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) course is a two-day, face-to-face training program designed to give participants the essential knowledge and practical skills required to safely manage traffic on Western Australian roads.

This traffic management course is mandatory in Western Australia for anyone involved in selecting, implementing, and setting up Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) on public roads. If you are responsible for placing signs and traffic control devices as part of your daily work duties, this training is a legal and safety requirement.

Our traffic management training complies with all Main Roads WA standards and covers content from the Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management and AS1742.3 – 2019 Australian Standard. The course is suited to workers in construction, civil works, utilities, and maintenance services where road access and safety are involved.
