Worksite Traffic Management (RIICWD503A)

Pre-requisites

1. A current Basic WTM certificate (RIIOHS302A).

2. Must hold a White or Blue Card (CPCCOHS1001A).

If you do not have a card you could do the course online with us. (Go to our home page and click Online Training.)

3. A letter saying the person has no less than one year of relevant traffic management OR two years in road construction or maintenance industry experience.

4. MUST bring to the course photo ID [eg, passport, drivers licence etc] and White Card.

NOTE: We cannot accept registrations without points 1 and 2.

Content

Preparation and endorsement of Traffic Management Plans in accordance with and up to the planning level specified in Clause 2.2.1 (b) of AS1742 Part 3 - 2002.

Monitoring the effectiveness of and on-site adjustments to traffic guidance schemes in accordance with the scope and objectives of the Traffic Management Plan.

This course includes Unit of Competency RIICWD503A - Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan.

All KTS traffic management courses cover both the National Modules and Main Roads WA requirements.

Statement of Attainment Certificate (no expiry date), MRWA Certificfate of Accreditation and MRWA photo ID permit (valid for 3 years)

Certification in Worksite Traffic Management is dependent upon successful completion of the in class written assessments and the successful completion and submission of 2 scenarios on the job traffic management plans.
